Approving a line in Growthy does not send it anywhere. It moves to Ready to sync, where you see the Growthy value next to the QuickBooks value for every field. You pick what goes, and the rest waits for the next pass. A preparer can approve all week while one person sends the month when it is ready. Nothing leaves Growthy until the batch looks right to you.

A duplicate check on every sync
Before anything posts, the confirm dialog spells out what the sync creates, which payment account it uses, and how many duplicates the check found. If a line would double up, you see it here, not at month end. The summary reads like a sentence, so a reviewer can check it without opening each entry. Cancel, and nothing changes in either system.

Categorizations flow back both ways
The books stay in QuickBooks Online, with no migration and no cutover. What you approve in Growthy lands there as the entry you reviewed, and the activity log records each sync so you can show how an entry got there. Your client keeps their QuickBooks login, reports, and accountant access exactly as before. The entries you synced are ordinary QuickBooks entries and stay there.

The sync only carries what you already reviewed. Growthy codes the bank feed, you approve the routine lines in one pass, and the odd ones wait for a decision. Approved lines are what land in Ready to sync, so QuickBooks only ever sees entries a person signed off on. The flagged deposit from the feed syncs only once you resolve it.

What it does and does not do

QuickBooks Online is the only ledger Growthy syncs with today. Other sources come in by CSV import, and they go through the same review queue before anything is approved or sent.
The sync writes the entries you approved and nothing else. It does not edit your chart of accounts, change past periods, or touch payments, and it never runs without your confirm.
