Waiting on statement, at a glanceBeta

Months still waiting on a client statement collect in one column, each marked Ask client, so you can request them together instead of asking one client at a time. A QuickBooks login that is about to expire shows on the card before a sync fails. The column empties as statements arrive, and each month moves to Ready on its own. Filter to Waiting on client and the list is your follow-up for the day.

  • Request statements in one click
  • Expiring QBO logins flagged

Done means the checks passedBeta

A month lands in Done only after its done checks pass. Open the card and you see the statement file, the period, the ending balance, and the check count, so a reviewer can trust the column without reopening the work. Done stays done until someone reopens the month, and that shows too.

  • Statement and ending balance on the card
  • Check count on every done month

Stuck says whyBeta

A stuck card names its blocker in plain words, like lines that need a look or a duplicate statement copy to remove. Click it and you land in that client month with the next thing to fix already on top. You fix the blocker there, rebuild, and the card moves on the board. Nothing sits in Stuck without a reason attached.

  • Failed checks counted
  • One click into the client month

Your whole book, one filter awayBeta

Every client your firm handles sits on the same board, one card per account per month. The client chips at the top narrow it to one client when you want their months side by side. The board does not do the close for you. It tells you where to look first, so Monday starts with the stuck months and the statements you still need, not with opening each client file to find out where things stand.

  • Every client on one board
  • Narrow the board to one client

The numbers we publish

The board matters most once you run more clients than you can hold in your head, which for most solo bookkeepers happens inside the ceiling below.

85% accurate on first import.

Routine lines get coded. The rest wait in the review queue with a reason and a confidence score, so you know where to look first and why.

QuickBooks suggestions: ~50%.

That is where most bookkeepers start. The suggestions land about half the time, so every line still gets a look, and a busy month means a long morning in the feed.

The 15-25 clients ceiling.

Most solo bookkeepers stop taking new clients somewhere in that range because the feeds eat the week. One review pass per client is what moves it.

Founding pricing: Solo is $39/month for 1 company, plus $35/month for companies 2–4. Practice is $149/month for 5 companies, plus $29/month for companies 6–24.

Who runs it

The bookkeeper stays the reviewer. Growthy handles the routine coding and holds the judgment calls for you, whether you run one client or thirty. Nothing posts without your approval.

Bookkeeper, 10-30 QuickBooks Online clients

Know which client to open next without checking each QuickBooks file or a spreadsheet tracker.

Firm, 2-50 staff

Filter the board by state, statement, connection, or checks and split the work across the team.

Solo, just starting out

Build the habit at five clients that still works at twenty-five, without a spreadsheet tracker to keep in sync.

What it does and does not do

Growthy asks when it is unsure. You review the rest.

The board shows state. The work still happens in each client month, where you review and approve, one client at a time.

A client shows up once its accounts are connected. Each connected account gets its own row per month, so nothing is averaged away across a client.

Frequently asked questions

How many clients can I see on the board?
Every client your firm handles. The board shows one row per account per month, and you can filter by state, statement, connection, or checks.
What does Stuck mean?
A month is Stuck when a done check fails or something blocks it, like lines that need a look or a duplicate statement copy. The card names the blocker.
What is a done check?
A check a month must pass before it counts as done. The card shows how many passed, and a failed check moves the month to Stuck.
Does each client's data stay separate?
Yes. Client data stays isolated per client, and one client's corrections never train another client's patterns.
Can I request statements from the board?
Months waiting on a statement are marked Ask client, and the board gathers them behind one Request statements action. The card moves once the statement is on file, so the column shows who you are still waiting on.
Does it work with QuickBooks Online clients?
Yes. Connect each client's QuickBooks Online company. The board flags a QBO login that is about to expire, so you can fix the connection before a sync fails quietly.
Can my team use it?
Yes. Growthy is multi-user with role-based access: admin, manager, editor, and viewer.
